FLOOR CHAIN CONVEYORS
Anything from the smallest of spare parts to complete rebuilds, Klockner Group can supply all of the parts required to repair, rebuild any roll handling conveyor. Our proprietary parts come through Northern Chain Specialties Company, the top of the line US manufacturer for domestic floor chain for the last 35 years. Our sprockets are US manufactured using harden steel to suit the application. Our minimum steel specification of 1045, flame hardened teeth, up through T1 and AR500.

Our manufacturers shelf stock most all of the rotating components, chain parts, transition rollers, head bearings, bearings, tail take up bearings and transition roller bearings for most manufacturers; Lamb, Kone, Rex, Lenox, and Beloit.
APRON CONVEYORS AND HYDRAPULPERS
Apron Conveyors: both new machines and complete rebuilds. We specialize in removal and replacement of these apron conveyor components: new rails, impact bars, sprockets, shafts, and chain, AD Style, Z Pan style and Piano Hinge style, etc. Most systems can be completely rebuilt on site; while others require some prefabrication. Our specialization allows us to identify necessary replacement components and more importantly what can be re-used, saving your mill money. Most all rebuild and repair work can be done within a normal annual outage.

All of our chain is manufactured by Northern Chain who has been manufacturing Apron Chain in the above styles for over 25 years. We offer a variety of options in wheel and axle arrangements, and are experts at modifying your conveyor with current technology to increase up time and reduce maintenance time and costs.
New conveyors are built to specification with capacities to meet current and future expansion requirements.
Hydrapulpers are by rebuild only. Stainless Steel Tub liners, rotor and bearing change outs have become routine over the years. We have accumulated the necessary tooling to remove stuck rotors, with 100-ton porta powers, torque multipliers, and 1” impact guns carried standard in our tool trailer brought to every site. A breakdown crew is available 24 hours a day for emergency repairs.
WOOD PROCESSING DEBARKERS AND CONVEYORS
From New Rubber Tired Drum Debarkers, to replacement trunnion drum sections, trunnion wheels and all drum components, we offer a whole range of products. Truck dumper hoppers and conveyors, all of the chip and bark handling conveyors, both chain and belt.
Log handling, and all of the components necessary for complete woodyards and log processing yards for chipmills, sawmills and papermill woodyards.

RECYCLING CENTERS
The up and coming recycling centers have a combination of all of our expertise in material handling. Apron conveyors for heavy loads, in both chain belt and cleated rubber belt to handle the incoming loads. Slider bed belts, and troughed belts to handle semi sorted material, and then the lightest duty belts for low volume light materials.

CASCADE EVAPORATORS
Klockner Group has been supervising Cascade Evaporator reworks for over 30 years. We have rebuilt over 70 cascades since the company’s origination. The tube sheets are precisely drilled for perfect alignment and smooth tube installation, and are plugged and leak tested in a tube testing tank. Hub bolts are custom manufactured to exceed the original requirements.
Our manufacturers stock most of the bushings, as well as a full set of hub bolts, washers and nuts and fabricated bearing housings. We have the expertise and capability to produce any shaft and hub assembly. We have fully assembled the entire cascade wheels in house and on site.
Klockner employs field service technicians to diagnose any problem areas. Let us quote a full inspection to help your mill keep your Cascade Evaporator up and running at full capacity.
We have drawing for most Cascade Evaporators build in the last half century. We can reverse engineer your Cascade to get parts manufactured if drawings are missing.
BIO-ENERGY SYSTEMS
Bio Energy systems are natural extensions to wood processing. With similar components from the debarkers through the raw wood processing, we offer all of the components up to the pelletizing machinery.
